studio callisto

this is from a few years ago when i had the second floor of the water tower (but i still offer all of those "services"). i know i need to post more signs in here; i've only got about one-third of them. i'm going to work on that this week!

isabel's coffee cup: before and after

i'm honored to have been trusted with this lopez village icon...

inside spiral

this is an older piece; it is the "negative space" from the vortex spiral which i turned into a 'sculpture' of sorts. it's on the wall inside the vortex cafe.

Coffea arabica ssp "Lopezius" var. "Isabel's"

Our beloved Isabel (Elizabeth) commissioned this one; The person saying "just say yes" (to whipped cream) is Julia, who ended up owning the business. I guess you will just have to go to the coffee shop to see this one up close, otherwise I would need a ladder and a light to take better photos.

the newest addition to center road

i guess when you're a dedicated foodie like kim and todd are, there are some side effects....

the art of wall project

i got my chance to paint 'the wall' yesterday; it only took 4 hours which was surprising but it's not exactly my most 'anal 'work either. (ie; no careful lines or corners or me perpetually covering up mistakes, like i do on my signs). joel is looking for more artists!

Whispers of Nature Labyrinth

this is an entry-way sign for a
labyrinth shaped medicinal herb garden that susie and nick (and others) have worked very very hard on. it's pretty incredible to walk the labyrinth pathway, and it's been fun to watch  it grow in. check out the amazing stand nick made from recycled lawn mower blades, and more, turning it into a beautiful flower...

lopez coffee roasters!

this is some rockin' good coffee. thanks dean, for taking a chance.

chicaoji label and glyph

if you haven't tried chicaoji yet, you must live in a cave. it's the best hot sauce ever, suitable for all types of restrictive diets and omnivores alike, and made by one very sweet texan. chicaoji.com!

remember tsunami books?

this is a short, meandering path in the midst of lopez village, with a small sanctuary in the center to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of town

IMAGINE PEACE

this installation is visible from fisherman bay road as you drive into lopez village. i was so excited about doing it that i gave these guys an incredible deal.

the old village water tower

i had an art studio on the second floor of this tower for 2 years. it is a one-hundred square foot room with slanted walls and the most incredible views south and west.
