I lived in La Conner from 2017-2023 so there is a bit of a break in the signpainting, aside from making my own signs for Book Arts La Conner.
These were made just over a year ago, when I was beginning to move back to the island.

I'm dividing my time between Lopez Island and La Conner. To my great surprise I am considering moving back to the island after 5 years in town. Taking a break from production crafting journals, painting some island signs! New work coming soon...
Welcome to my online sign portfolio! It is by no means chronologically arranged, or complete. Signs are generally designed by myself and the customer, cooperatively. I can work with an existing logo, font and/or color scheme, or help you develop a new design. Sometimes, I am given free creative reign, but I do prefer to have some guidelines to work with.
My pricing is based on time and materials. All signs are painted on exterior grade plywood or MDO with exterior paints. I strive to create a beautiful and durable object. Here in the islands, my signs are enduring sun, wind and salt spray pretty well. Thanks for checking out my portfolio!
